Based on the idea of the K52 student group, wishing to spread good things to the H'Mong ethnic community in the Mu Cang Chai homeland of a member of the group, the Advanced Program office collaborated with the Better Life Vietnam has been working together to make that idea come true. Since then, the project "Art in our hand" was formed. After more than a month of conceptualizing, preparing and developing the program's content, on December 13 and December 14, the project team went to one of the extremely difficult communes of Yen Bai province is Nam Khat Commune, Mu Cang Chai district.

Through winding roads, out-of- the-way and bumpy rocks, through pristine forests and terraced fields which are simple, close, majestic and poetic, at last Nam Khat commune also appeared in front of our eyes. With the enthusiastic help of the uncle in the People's Committee of Nam Khat commune, and the welcoming of the people as contributing more motivation to the project team after a long way.

In the cosy conference room of the Commune Committee, the students participated in an intimate exchange, listening and sharing about the life and culture of the H’mong ethnic minority here. At the same time, the students of the Advanced Program guided people here to practice quilling paper folding.

This is also an opportunity for course 1 and 2 of the project to directly practice project organization skills, teamwork skills, presentation skills, positive thinking, ...

When asked, "after finishing the project, what do you want to do?" Each team member has their own ideas, such as:

"I want to return to this place, help people develop economy and tourism"

"I want to promote gender equality in the community here"

"I want to propagate and raise awareness of environmental protection for people"

"I want to propagate about the marriage and family law, helping the community here understand the biological and social harm of child marriage"

"I want to do this program on my hometown"
