Organizing the 2022 Lunar New Year for international students and foreigners at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.

On January 22, 2022, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry held the 2022 Lunar New Year for International Students and Foreigners.

Attending the program: The guests included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van - Vice President of Thai Nguyen University and Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association; On the side of the school, Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Hung – Chairman of the School Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang - Rector of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Duong Van Thao – Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang – Officer.

Due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in 2021, the University has a large number (over 100) of international students and foreigners who will celebrate the Lunar New Year at the University. To show hospitality and affection to these international students and foreigners, the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation launched the "Tet Gift Giving Program" and integrated this activity in a series of activities. events of the Office of Advanced Programs such as: "NOLA start-up, with food stalls - camping to perform cultural and artistic performances of countries...".

To encourage the spirit and share with international students and foreigners, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Van - Vice President of Thai Nguyen University and the school sent meaningful Tet gifts and envelopes to the students. The school organizes cultural activities, traditional pavilions, special arts, so that many students show pride in their country's culture.

Although they cannot return to their homeland, it is an opportunity for international students and foreigners to celebrate the Vietnamese traditional New Year. They will understand more about the culture, customs and practices of Vietnam, which they consider as their second homeland.
